Veronica made some butternut squash mash. The amber mash complemented the turmeric on the pan-fried fish and her green lettuce and tomato made a satisfying ensemble of  contrasting colour and the fragrant fish smelled wonderful. The dark green fragments of dill on the turmeric worked so well as a colour combination that for a few moments she complemented herself on her success as a possible Master-Chef contender. She had forgotten about her unwanted guest on the print frame in the next room.It didn't matter.
