Happy Halloween

There's a big sign outside Waitrose that says HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Surely there is a contradiction of terms here. Halloween may be about many things but HAPPY isn't going to one of them. Frightened out of your wits, scared shitless, spooked till your blood runs cold but HAPPY????? Give me a break!!! Poor little moo-moo here looks neither happy nor freaked out. In fact as she's trying to remove her witches hat she seems to be consumed by some major news event on CNN.

Don't you just love those big black soles on her shoes........which seem to give her penguin-feet!!
